Jane Evans - Waikato (Hamilton)

Hello,

Clive is returning to New Zealand for a while and we would like to take this opportunity to arrange a few afternoon gatherings here at Ryburn Road. We are putting out the following flier at the local Theosophy Lodge and perhaps at the University. So you would be very welcome to attend (space here means we have to restrict numbers to 10)

Warm Regards

Clive and Jane
A small Gathering
“Beyond Tradition” - An Enquiry into our lives
Relationship, conflict, conditioning, change, authority, freedom ... these are some of the issues that are fundamental to our lives. Yet how often do you hear the issues explored in a serious manner? Or explored at all? Where they part of your education? Do politicians talk of them?

A series of small gatherings are planned on the afternoons of 3rd, 10th, and 17th of February 08 to enquire together into such topics. These are not lectures, they are not sectarian, and there is no authority implied in the organising. The meeting will start with a half hour video of extracts from talks/discussions by J. Krishnamurti, followed by a mutual enquiry.

If you are interested in attending, or would like more details, please email
or phone 07 8566523. Numbers will be limited to 10, as they will be held in a private house just outside of Hamilton.

Anyone interested in K’s teachings is very welcome to contact me at any time.  There is a small library of K DVDs, CDs, tapes and books (including books for sale) if you would like to call.

Is it possible to live without a single image...Otherwise, you will always be getting hurt...

...the cause of [being hurt] is that I have an image about myself...the image is trampled upon, and it gets hurt, and the consequence of that hurt is to resist, to build a wall around oneself, becoming more and more lonely...
